The theme for the District Klondike Derby this year was “Experience the Traditions.” Activities for this year’s Klondike Derby focused on a patrol-based competition involving Scouts participating in various activities as they move through a timeline over the years in Scouting. The Troop traveled back into time and learned all about Scouting’s early years up until present time.
At each station, the Scouts were challenged to complete various activities which demonstrate their Scout and leadership skills, teamwork, and Scout Spirit. At the end of the day, the finishing touch was an event-wide sled race to the finish line.
